  • Pet Policy :
    • You can bring pets only if you reserved in advance, no unannounced pets, we need to plan room assignments in advance.
    • Pets should always be on leash and should be upto date on vaccination 
    • Vaccination record is mandatory during check-in
    • Pets should have been trained for silent hours.
    • Excessive cleaning fee might apply if there is shedding/soiling.
  • Smoking policy:
    • All rooms (including bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms) are non-smoking rooms.
    • All stairs, dining rooms, gym, kitchen and meeting rooms are non-smoking common areas.
    • Your dedicated balcony can be used as a smoking zone as long as the sliding doors are completely shut. 
    • Cigarette butts should be properly discarded in the ash tray and not on the floor
    • Parking areas have dedicated smoking zones, check with the reception.
    • Anyone found to violate non-smoking rules will be penalized by cancelling their party’s reservation without a refund and will be subjected to additional cleaning charges.
  • Driving Precautions:
    • If you are using your own transport, please be advised that the last few meters are gravel road that go uphill. 
    • Please be prepared.
  • Construction Disclaimer:
    • It is possible that there might be construction going on in the neighbourhood that may not be in our control. 
    • If you think you cannot enjoy your stay with us due to any of the construction activites, please inform the manager at check-in and we will try to accommodate your request including a full refund if required.
  • Inclement Weather policy:
    • Standard cancellation policy applies if a trip is cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Identification requirements:
    • Mandatory photo ID requirement is enforced during check-in.
  • Payment Policy:
    • Entire payment for your stay is expected upfront unless it has already been paid online.
    • Manager reserves the right to demand a caution deposit on a case-by-case basis.
    • All deposits will be refunded at check-out after a quick inspection of the property rented.
  • Early Checkin/Late Checkout:
    • Early Check-in and/or late Check-out is possible depending on the property’s availability and cleaning progress.
    • Additional charges may apply.
    • Please call us after confirming your reservation to enquire.
  • Probihibited Items:
    • Usage or possession of any drugs that is not allowed to be used by the Govt. Of Tamil Nadu is considered prohibited.
    • No weapons are allowed inside the property boundary.
    • Usage of loud speakers, percussion instruments and similar devices are not allowed.
  • Probihibited Activities:
    • Gambling is not allowed.
    • Shooting photos/videos for monetory benefits are not allowed without explicit written approval in advance from the Resort Manager. 
    • Any activity that is termed illegal by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu is probihited.
  • Room Occupancy Limits:
    • More than the reserved/declared guests may be accommodated on a case by case basis. Please talk to the Manager.
    • Rolling beds are available for a charge.
  • Limited Liability:
    • Please take care of your belongings, you are ultimately responsible for them.
    • Ask about our locker availability.
    • The resort is not liable for any injuries/accidents to personals, valuables or vehicles during your stay. 
    • There windows intentionally have no guard rails to give you an unobstructed view of the hills of Kodaikanal. 
  • Specific Room Request:
    • Any request to get a specific room should be in writing, preferably over an email to contactus@afiestaresorts.com. 
    • Requests are processed on a first come first serve basis and are not final until confirmed.
    • If there is a change in room type, an upcharge might apply.
  • Refund policy:
    • For all cancellations, standard refund policy applies.
    • There is no refund/compensation for late checkin, early checkout, voluntary downgrade, unused amenities or unannounced no-shows.
  • Internet/Wifi Policy:
    • Internet is available for all paid customers. 
    • Customers are liable for the usage of internet by them or minors accompanying them.
    • Customers will have to bring in their own devices free of malwares and other malicious softwares that might affect the other entities in the network.
    • Resort will not be liable for the speed or availability of internet.
    • Resort will not be liable for any content including malicious content or illegal content accessed, downloaded or uploaded by the guest.
  • Force Majeure:
    • Hotels may have clauses regarding unforeseen events or circumstances beyond their control (force majeure) that may affect their ability to fulfill their obligations.
